The Role

We're looking for an AI Automation Engineer who blends problem-solving skills, integration know-how, and a passion for AI-driven workflows. In this role, you'll work closely with our founders and clients to design, build, and optimize AI agent workflows using tools like n8n, LLM APIs, and other automation platforms. You'll help enterprises move from manual, fragmented processes to proactive, goal-driven systems that run themselves.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement AI-powered workflows and automations, integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Build, deploy, and optimize AI agents that combine autonomy, planning, and memory with deep system integrations.
  • Work with clients to understand business processes and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
  • Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and vector databases to create intelligent, context-aware workflows.
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise-grade standards for security, scalability, and compliance (including the EU AI Act).
  • Collaborate with designers, product leads, and founders to prototype and ship fast, iterating based on feedback.
  • Contribute to our internal automation library of reusable workflows, templates, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Having experience with AI automation platforms like n8n, Camunda, etc is a huge plus point
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks) and data transformation.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
  • Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for custom nodes, scripts, and extensions.
  • Understanding of process mapping, orchestration, and optimization principles.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-moving teams where shipping beats perfection.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, embeddings, and vector search.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments (security, authentication, data governance).

  • Shape solutions for top-tier global brands and ambitious scale-ups.
  • Full ownership from idea to delivery, see your work go live fast.
  • Based in Berlin, Germany with hybrid flexibility - work from our office or remotely from the city.
